Disconnected Photography Series

Series of photographs taken from my car at night.

This is a series taken from the perspective of a man disconnected from his environment and those around him. Separate and removed, he watches the people and places outside his car window as he travels alone. The figures he sees are sometimes menacing and grotesque, sometimes mysterious, lonely and sorrowful.

The earliest inspiration for this series came from the wonderful “Car Series” by photographer Ed Deasy, which I stumbled upon in the early 2000's.
